✖ David Ward (DJ Wardy) from Donegal, Ireland has been DJing for over 5 years. He is well known for his energetic DJ sets. Specialising in progressive, big room house and dirty drops, he likes to keep the crowd on their toes all night.
As a child he had a huge interest in football. He played for the best team in Ireland, winning the highest awards achievable in the country. He nearly became a professional as he had trials with various Premiership teams.

From then on he had a desire to fullfill a career in the music business. He went on to DJ at two of the most iconic nightclubs in Donegal. “The Limelight”, Glenties and “The Grill”, Letterkenny working with the best local talent including Brian McDaid, Chris McDyre and Reuben Keeney.
Having been DJing for about 2 years David entered a Dj competition just to see how far along his skills have progressed. The winner would get an opportunity to DJ at Europe’s favourite music festival, Oxegen. David went on to win the competition and says it has been one of the best experiences of his life as he got to go backstage with some of the Artists he looked up to.
Since Oxegen, David has had a high demand of gigs and shows throughout Ireland. He always gives 100% and has never had a bad experience at any gig. He has a strong connection with his audience and loves making them feel good.
This is when David started to get into the production side of music. He wanted to go to the next level. Studying with Point Blank Studios in London, he learned from the best where Artists such as Claude VonStroke and the iconic Pete Tong. Tutored by the likes of Jonny Miller and Tempo Guisto his tracks have reached a very high level.
After sending demo tracks he was quickly signed to Itchycoo Records releasing his tracks “All Night” and “Chief.” He has two new tracks that are close to completion that will be released very soon. Then he will get to work on new material and hopefully early next year he will be releasing his new album with is rumoured to be called “Crux.” It will be featuring all the tracks that he has signed with Itchycoo records.
Future plans for DJ Wardy will be performing live with Itchycoo’s Ibiza Nights where he will be bringing his energetic style to their live shows.
